Claire Pope MBACP
Hi, I’m Claire, a professional and experienced person-centred counsellor. I am hugely passionate about listening to and helping people. I became a counsellor to help and support others as I had been helped and supported in previous years. Every time I work with clients I feel totally privileged that people let me in enough to share parts of their life experience and I'm honoured to go on self-discovery journeys with people. I am enormously passionate about what I do, to be there, to provide a listening ear, empathy and congruence is what I always strive to achieve.
Together with my business partner – Rachel Spence, we have a private practice – Buttercup counselling. We offer a warm and safe environment in which you can explore any issues you may be experiencing. As a person-centred counsellor, I recognise that the relationship between client and therapist is crucial if the therapeutic relationship is going to be effective. At no time is any client under any obligation to continue work if they didn’t feel it effective. |
